I don't ... know? But my dad did, so I think it's safe to say angels in my world do have wings.

Huh.... So I guess you wouldn't know what oils to use on them to water proof them, then?

But now I'm wondering if yours are just gonna show up like mine did when my powers woke up.

I don't, unfortunately, but I do know that birds tend to generate their own. Are you worried about the boat trip?

Maybe? It hasn't happened spontaneously on it's own yet like the rest of my abilities.

Just in general. Teddy said I should use water proof oils, like birds. I just don't like when they get wet. They get all heavy and it's uncomfortable. Didn't matter when I could just make them vanish.

It all happened really fast for me, but I planned to burn through my powers and be normal. My abilities started to show, then the wings happened. It was all with in a few days.

How long have your abilities been showing up?

Eighteen months, maybe?

[Time is hard to gauge between Hell and home, and the way memories get jumbled in your brain.]

Ever since I got my dad's ring. It's like that was my angel wakeup call.

Yeah, that's a lot longer than me.

So maybe it'll just take longer for your wings to come out. Probably means you're gonna have the powers for the long haul, too. I'm just gonna make sure to burn mine out on killing God when I get home and call it done.

[Though he keeps mentioning killing God and now it's got her wheels turning.]

Speaking of the killing God thing - do you have like ... a special weapon to do that?

Well, Lucifer's holding him still for me, and I've got the demon sword.

[He tilts his head a little.] Why?

I've heard about a weapon here that could ... theoretically do that. Kill God.

[She can't say for sure, as the lore is mixed, but it certainly brings up questions.]

Huh. That could be useful.

[Setsuna bites his bottom lip a little.]

I mean, if we could get to God here. I'm still not sure how we get out of Hell. Let alone get to Heaven.

There were angels here, at the carnival, so there's gotta be a way.

[She nods.]

I guess we'll have to pay attention, if the carnival comes around again. See if they can catch how they're coming or going.

[Bit of uncomfortable silence.]

I really hope it doesn't. Last time sucked enough. And, I mean, I could always just stay away from it, but.... [He can't. That would mean turning his back on anyone in trouble.]

But yeah. If it comes back, I'll try to keep that in mind.

[Yep. They'll just have to try and figure it out. And she's heard enough horror stories about the carnival to not want it either, but if Hell is any indication thus far, they might not have a choice.]
