[they haven't had proper one on one time since waverly visited her in the dungeons and if there's one person she knows she doesn't have to fake being okay with, it's waverly.]
maybe some chips?
[as much as wynonna loves her sweets, she's feeling the salty snacks right now.]
[wynonna was waiting in the main area for the knock, lest waverly be greeted by one of the boys. and there is a half drunk bottle of whiskey in her hand as she opens the door.]
Waverly. Just the sister I wanted to see.
[and before anything else, she wraps her arms around waverly, careful not to splash her with any whiskey as she does so.]
[Waverly returns the hug just as warmly, squeezing her sister tightly before stepping further into the room. She's got several bags of chips in her hand and smooths her free one over Wynonna's back.]
[Yeeeeeeeeeeah that 100% means Wynonna is not okay, but Waverly's just going to follow her lead, waiting until they're out of earshot of everyone else.]
Wow, these suites are nice. Good to know that somewhere out there Hell knows the value of walls.
You get upgraded to these after a mont here -- but the other rooms have to share a bathroom. Since I'm the only girl in the suite, it only made sense for me to get the private bathroom.
[actually she had kinda bullied homelander into letting her have it, but klaus and jason had agreed to it without a fight. and it didn't matter anymore, homelander had long since forgiven her.
speaking of homelander, waverly might notice on the bed a stuffed version of her friend that he had enchanted by john constantine to protect her. not that she knows that part. she just thought it was something he gave her to make her feel better in the dungeons.
waverly might also notice all the empty booze bottles and general mess. she probably should have cleaned up first...but that's not wynonna's style]
[Nope, and Waverly probably wouldn't have believed it anyway. Instead, she'll pass the chips to Wynonna for her to dig into, while starting to clean herself under the ruse of making space for herself on the bed.
She's also eyeing that doll because that is ... something.]
Yeah, my roommates are pretty cool but we're still figuring things out. I'm not sure if they're "move in with" material yet.
I know you would. But it's okay. The more spread out we are, the more allies we make.
[And from what she can tell, Sara and Elektra are smart and seem way more prepared for this kind of situation than she was. They'd be good allies to have, and hopefully they'll be able to stick together.]
[good is probably a stretch for all of the people in suite 218, but they get along, for the most part, and have been like their own little family unit. sort of. it's complicated, but it's mostly worked.]
Honestly? I'm kinda impressed I haven't made more enemies.
[you know, she just...happened to make one out of lucifer himself...no big.]
[wynonna wraps her arm around waverly's shoulder, pulling her in close. she can believe a lot of things, but she will never, ever believe waverly deserves to be here.
[Waverly goes without complaint, curling into her sister's side and holding her close. She doesn't necessarily agree - Waverly has as many reasons to go to Hell as anyone, but she's not going to debate Wynonna right now.]
[Hell seems like the kind of place that could bring up so many of their secrets without them meaning to. The best way to handle it is to narrow that down to as few as possible.]
[exactly wynonna's thinking. she's seen enough of hell's mind games -- she doesn't want to give them fodder to drive a wedge between her and waverly.]
I had just saved you from that bitch, Jolene. You said you were from a lot further than that. And something about Peacemaker being a sword? And defeating Bulshar? And you melting Bobo's brains which is honestly maybe the best thing I've ever heard -- because your dad was an angel.
[at least those are the details that stand out to her from their conversation in the dungeons]
[And she'll fill in what little she knows about the Ghost River Triangle actually being the home base for the capital G Garden and Bulshar being the snake from the story, and her dad being an angel that was supposed to protect it but Ward happened. Peacemaker being an angel sword comes soon after. She'll also mention Michelle leaving to find Julian which is kind of ironic because Julian was in the Ghost River Triangle the entire time.
And then, there's the hard part, because she knows it's not what Wynonna's going to want to hear. But she'll tie up this portion of things with something that will actually make her happy:]
But you broke the curse. It's gone, Wynonna. Alice is free.
[But that's not the end of things. There's something else Wynonna needs to know, just in case Doc is not far behind her and not as Wynonna remembers him.]
But there's something else you should know. About Doc.
[wynonna tenses a little. she had been so angry at doc when she arrived here -- angry at him for lying to her about kate. stupid perfect nosed kate. but things with her and doc usually either tend be good or a tire fire, with almost no in-between, so it sounds like things get worse. she tries to brace herself for it.]
