And you helped me when you first got here. It's just...back home there's more opportunity to fight than heal, usually. We're often on the defensive.

[She nods, because they still haven't really talked about that moment with Margo. She swallows hard before sitting up a bit.]

Sometimes it feels like it comes easier though. I don't feel as drained when it's over. Sometimes I feel like taking the life from something should be harder than giving it back.

[Julian depleted his proverbial battery entirely to save Nicole, and while she will always be grateful for that, it also hurts. That she couldn't have both. That one had to be sacrificed to save the other.]

I wish I had answers for you baby girl. But whatever comes with being an angel....even if the powers are made to hurt more, that's not who you are. You're a healer, a caretaker, you always have been.

[ elena opens the door to the suite and steps back to make room for waverly. closing the door behind her, she starts to lead waverly into the "master" bedroom. ] Make yourself at home. I'll get us some glasses for the wine. [ might as well start their pampering session right. ]

You know, I was thinking about it and the last time I had a spa day, I was kidnapped by a incel and found out my new friend was a revenant. So ... hopefully this one will go better.

Is a demon in your world the same thing as a revenant? [ are they a special kind of demon? ]
